Immaturity

Immaturity, similarly to human reason is a product of the human principle of error, an error which cannot be transcended because we are not god or all seeing and knowing beings. Immaturity is born out of shortsightedness, which can become all consuming and acute, thus evoking the emotion in a bid to come to terms with our frustrations.

Love

Love cannot be found anywhere within the skilful art of rhetoric. Rather it resides immovable, within a silent agreement.

A balanced personality

One measure of a truly balanced personality, is to possess the requisite insight that allows one to perceive ones humble position within the universe to the point where ones own existence does not seem quite as important as the lives of others.

Pure righteousness

In a conversation with an old friend once, I suggested that there was no point in buying my mother a present or card for her birthday with her own money, to which my friend explained that I was mistaken! This conversation comes back to me now as I sit in the cinema spilling popcorn on the floor in memory of my mother who loved popcorn and who I selfishly begrudged for sharing mine once upon a time, instead of bathing in the joy of someone so selfless who found joy in a very rare moment of self centred consumption.

In my mothers untimely death I have now learnt the true meaning of my old friends words and have realised that it is never too late to share or do the right thing and that in being righteous there are no excuses.

Fate

Tonight an inanimate object appeared to disappear into thin air as I took my eyes off of it for a second in my preparation for bed. I cannot make sense of this and so it is as if by godly magic this inanimate object simply vanished in an impressive illusion.

The lesson here is interesting, in that through our lapse in concentration, a gap in our memory, overwhelming emotions or any other inhibitor of insight, we are made unaware of movement or reality extending beyond our perceptual universe, because perception is subjective and not objective or all knowing because we are not god or a superior all knowing force and therefore it is our subjectivity that reveals our human flaw and the fact that we are subjects of a higher power because we lack the ability of absolute control. It is this subjective veil that provides the grime reaper with his cloak of invisibility, an ability which is embedded within the trajectory of our subjectivity, our genetic equations, our experiences, which play out within an interconnected web of life forces that make up the universe.

I cannot perceive any equation that transcends this matrix of destiny or fate, but then who am I but someone who is helplessly trapped within his own subjectivity who eagerly awaits enlightenment to wake him from his subjective slumber.
