The concept of race

The concept of race is void! However the social experience of it is real because of the enforced investment in it! The concept of race is void because the human race is one race of people, that is, that we all originate from one human race. All that makes us different is genetic heterogeneity, which includes genetic mutations. The term 'race' suggests different human origins, which is impossible as there is only one human origin on planet earth and that is the African. Therefore we can intellectualise from the introduction of race as a concept, specifically within european civilisation as a hierarchical system of order and logic, that race is a white supremacist product, concept or phenomenon, invented to facilitate racial violence and oppression for the purpose of creating a hegemonic racial hierarchy that would provide power through exploitation.

Therefore the tactics of whiteness or white supremacy in our contemporary moment to ask people of colour to describe what they mean by their assertion of racism or to suggest that it is people of colour who are obsessed, preoccupied or paranoid about racism, is an unveiling of the true scale of white supremacist power, in that it can now afford to adopt a strategy of race amnesia.

However the strategy of race amnesia is confounded when the multicultural subjects that white supremacy represents from its own imaginary, exceed their boundaries, thereby becoming a cultural threat, a challenge to the supremacy of dominant white cultural norms, which posture as the universal a-racial measure of humanity. A threat because whiteness or white supremacy is false, empty, void, a phantom ruse to mask the reality that whiteness has no culture, no substance, it is a scarecrow, the wizard of Oz, whose function depends on not being investigated because all there is, is an empty shell powered by violence.

Whiteness and the question of African enslavement

I have always found the white supremacist question that asks "wasn't African enslavement a long time ago?", in relation to its affects on black people in the present, a curious one. I find this question curious because for it to be a genuine one, it would have to be asked in relation to some comparable unit of measure. So then one would have to ask, when has any member of the human race experienced a similar trauma over a similar period of time as the transatlantic slave trade and the structural and domestic exclusion of African people that succeeded this predatory era of African enslavement?

Even if another racial group had experienced something similar to the transatlantic slave trade, which there is no historical evidence of, would this racial group have experienced this process in the same way as the African, that is within the same conscious reality of 'being' and 'knowing', experiencing the same pain and trauma that comes with such a reality? It may well be that for the pain ratio to be the same among different peoples with different ways of being and knowing the universe, they may have to have completely different experiences.

Never the less the tactical white supremacist question of the impact and legacy of African slavery in todays world is one, which is not genuine and one which seeks to erase any semblance of white violence because whiteness or white supremacy can only deal with how things are now and not how they got to be that way. The imperative for whiteness then is to create a giant white simulacrum void of any historical referent that exists outside of the white imaginary.   

The Digital Revolution

The RZA, on the track 'Sunshower', which featured on the Wu-Tang Forever double CD album, Philosophised that "the black man is the grafted digital". That is living tissue that has been inserted with the sensibility to transmit a digital signal of a subject through human representation, the imperative to convey information of a subject or from a subject with pristine accuracy, as if the information was coming from the source or subject itself. The digital signal maintains its integrity whilst the analogue signal deteriorates creating noise and distortion.

The digital signal capacity of the African who is conscious of it, takes the form of a sense of rhythmic equilibrium with ones environment. Now... White supremacy has always labelled the African as rhythmic and musical, with specific emphasis on dancing, which does the job of hermetically sealing the potential of African civilisation within the exotic realm of mindless whimsical savage pleasure, which of course lacks the premium human ability to reason and be rationale. It is shameful that this white analogue transmission of the nature of the African, with all of its pathologically inherent distortions, should form the dominant white coded image of the African, which bombards societies sensibilities. Such racism of course always points towards a historically specific evil.

However, the reality of African civilisation as I mentioned above, is rhythmic equilibrium with ones environment. Now it would be helpful here if I define what I mean by rhythmic equilibrium. Everything in the universe has a rhythm, a way of being, a reality. All language has a rhythm to it, including academic discourse, so do cars, animals, rain, thunder and lightning all have a rhythm, a way of being, a reality and therefore all of reality has a rhythm. Therefore having an innate sense of equilibrium with ones environment is really to have an innate sense of intelligence of ones environment. I say intelligence because the reality of everything in our world speaks to the African naturally through its rhythmic being, a rhythmic being that everything in our world has. A definition of intelligence is the "ability to acquire and apply knowledge" (google), the very nature of the African is to acquire and apply knowledge through rhythmic equilibrium with ones environment, making the African naturally intelligent by design. Dancing is just the most obviously apparent expression of the Africans rhythmic personality, but as I have explained this observation of rhythm encompasses everything in the universe.

The need for the indigenous African-centered worldview which has rhythmic equilibrium at its root, to be respected, valued and placed alongside euro-centric modes of reason, is at this moment crucial if we are to try and save the human race from extinction because of the effects of a capitalism induced state of global warming on planet earth, which could have been prevented through intelligence of ones environment. Besides the ultimate doom of mass extinction on planet earth, there is mass starvation, antagonistic conflict through unnecessary borders and the division of people that should be living as one, and ultimately the direction of planet earth being dictated by monetary power because of pessimistic Marxism, which suggests that the root motivation of humans is monetary or economic power, which is a euro-centric conscious reality rather than a conscious reality for all human-beings.

I would now like to conclude by pointing towards the thesis of the late Emmanuel Chukwudi Eze (2008) who suggested that planetary diverse reason is comprised of the planetary spectrum of reason, which is rooted in levels of consciousness, which have limitations or gaps, deliberate gaps, which cannot be transcended by the subject because of his or her subjective nature, which can never be all seeing and all knowing because this is the province of god or an all seeing all knowing being. Therefore following on from Eze, I would like to suggest that the earth, similarly to a car, has been fitted with a set of mirrors, which take the form of diverse planetary reason. The rear view mirror and the wing mirrors on a car help the driver to be orientated in the reality of his or her vehicle, mainly in relation to the actual position of the vehicle and its proximity to objects around it, which one would not be able to perceive accurately without the car mirrors providing a multi-perspective view of the actual positioning of the car on the road. Similarly Earth needs diverse planetary reason to help provide humans with the reality of the nature of earth as well as the wider universe, which exists beyond the gap in consciousness of the individual. Only through a collective human consciousness can the reality of planet earth and the wider universe be revealed.

Therefore if the bullying by white or euro-centric reason continues, whilst the world blindly sleepwalks behind it because of the false belief that euro-centric reason is the pinnacle of human civilisation, even though the naked eye is watching the world that we live in, governed by white reason, crumble and fracture in every way possible, then the human race is surely headed irreversibly towards extinction. Planet earth desperately needs a 'Digital revolution', humanity desperately needs a 'Digital revolution', to embrace the 'digital' nature of the African worldview, its imperative for harmony and equilibrium and the raw intelligence that flows from this natural symbiotic relationship between man and earth. The Asiatic worldviews also share this propensity for harmonic equilibrium and balance with all things, this natural symbiotic relationship between man and earth. Such a revolution should have happened years ago. As it is white supremacy is planet earth's headquarters, which is like a motor vehicle racing to its doom with no mirrors that would provide insight as to its true position.  

Political correctness

As well as helping to evolve society, political correctness also provides the means for the wolf to profile as the sheep. That is, the means to be deceptive by playing the role that is expected rather than the role that comes naturally from the heart and soul.

Wu-Tang-Clan/Les Nubians Philosophy

The following Philosophical realisation is a product of the Wu-Tang-Clan. "Love is the highest elevation of understanding". The following philosophical realisation is a product of Les Nubians (a  black french female music duo). "What you understand, reflections of yourself".

The two philosophical statements go hand in hand. "Love is the highest elevation of understanding" suggests that it is through the ability to understand someone that one can develop a love for someone. "What you understand, reflections of yourself" suggests that what it is that you can truly understand represents an element of yourself within it and therefore reflects a part of you from within it. Perhaps this is why we generally tend to love members of our family more so than anyone one else, because our family are literally, a reflection of parts of ourselves.

These philosophies then, might help in understanding why certain people may tend to love or hate certain people. It is also possible that somebody might not like someone else because they have not had a chance to get to know what that person is about and therefore cannot understand the reasoning behind that persons behaviour.

Differences between people may be even more pronounced if they belong to a different worldview consciousness. Emmanuel Chukwudi Eze (2008) believes that within the human race there are gaps in consciousness that represent the different worldviews that constitute the human race. The two most polarised worldviews being the Afro-centric worldview and the Euro-centric worldview, which both have a unique way of 'being' and 'seeing' the universe, which defines the rationale or reason behind behaviour. 

The best hope for living in harmony without resentment, is to allow everyone to be who they are and to express themselves without fear of rebuke (as long as it is not harmful to others). To understand and accept that a gap in consciousness exists across the human race, that is a gap between what it is that one person can perceive or see and what another person can perceive or see and therefore accepting the blindspots that exist within our own consciousness instead of trying to impose our own limitations or confines onto others.         

Gods Actors

Actors can play the perfect role for you. They have within them the capacity to produce a performance that god is in, that is, a performance that connects with you, your 360 degree reality, the reality of your universe, your soul. In that moment captured on film that actor or actress has been designed by god to be part of your reality, your universe, your journey.

I see no difference here to all people who you encounter who god has designed for a role in your life's journey. The wisdom here is that reality, that is the reality of ones universe dictates that it is only this perfect role that is relevant to us and therefore that one must train oneself to let go of anything that one fears to lose because attachment is greed and misery. Only god is the constant in ones life, the architect of your soul and the only one who can quench the thirst of your soul. Flesh or the physical, void of god, is chaotic, it is also by design, fleeting and transient.

Lenny Henry emigration row with UKIP candidate

Last year Lenny Henry tweeted that there was a poor representation of ethnic minorities on British television. In response to this tweet a UKIP Enfield candidate William Henwood, on his twitter account tweeted: "He should emigrate to a black country. He does not have to live with whites."

This racist response from William Henwood suggesting that Lenny Henry who is a British institution, should emigrate to a black country where he will not have to live with whites, I find astonishing in relation to its level of ignorance. It suggests that some how all ethnic minority peoples are the same and identify themselves within the racial category of black and furthermore that all white British people are the same and subscribe to a white supremacist agenda of exclusion and that this fictional white group of people are morally destitute with an inability to evolve in their way of thinking. It also suggests that this fictional white group of people live in a vacuum without the real life affect of cultural exchange, which gives birth to hybrid cultures that contribute to the constant redefinition of what British culture is and what it means to be British.

We can therefore identify that the issue, which Lenny Henry has raised in relation to the lack of ethnic minority representation on British television has got nothing at all to do with white British people as a heterogenous group of individuals with conflicting ideological beliefs, but with those white or not who sustain institutional racism within television, which serves an agenda of white supremacy and privilege.

Also worth mentioning here is a debate, which took place on BBC One's Sunday Morning Live programme, which took place last year, entitled: "Is the UK too hostile to immigration?" On the programme Springwatch presenter Bill Oddie expressed that he felt ashamed to be British because of the way in which the British socio-political agenda has historically constructed immigration as villainous. I believe that this topic, which Bill Oddie engaged with, has its roots embedded in the beginning of British chauvinism, which began as a response to the Norman invasion by William the conqueror in 1066. British mythology claimed that before the Norman invasion, perfect Saxon liberties were enjoyed throughout the land, in a sort of pure blood Saxon utopia. From this moment the seed of British racial chauvinism was sewn, especially in relation to immigration. In 20th century post-war Britain West Indian immigration was seen as a source of sorrow for the British people as they continued to come to terms with the dissolution of empire and their immediate economic circumstances. In short there is an irrational racist British ideology that is intrinsically linked to immigration, which blames immigration for the shortcomings of the British people. This is not to say that there are not genuine problems linked to immigration but that there is an irrational historically racist dimension to the British immigration debate.

In response to Bill Oddie's statement, he was challenged by the presenter Sian Williams to leave Britain if he did not like it. Now this suggestion by Sian Williams seems awfully similar to the suggestion by former UKIP candidate William Henwood that Lenny Henry should emigrate if he does not like the status quo in Britain. These suggestions unequivocally support a racist agenda of non change, they are ignorant and lazy statements that remove responsibility from the debate. If you love your country, which I am sure Lenny Henry and Bill Oddie do, then surely you want it to be the best that it can be, you want to help to fix the problems that it has so that you can truly be proud of it, I imagine in the same way one would want to be proud of any loved one. So it seems quite bizarre that because somebody wants to address the faults of their country, they are presumed to be better off leaving the country that they love. It also suggests that Britain is this homogenous edifice of racists with no desire to change for the better. Finally I would like the reader to reflect on what sort of country Britain would be today if everyone who fought for positive change was expunged?
